Our Story...

Max Stotz started developing a cow herd of registered Polled Herefords while he was cow herd manager for ACE Polled Herefords and Star Lake Cattle Ranch. In 1992 he married Karen, and they established MKS Ranch; specializing in purebred Hereford cattle and Quarter Horses. After 25 years MKS Ranch has produced numerous show champions and has provided exceptional seedstock for area producers and Hereford enthusiasts alike.

Miranda and Keysto have been active in the Hereford Junior program, attending 17 Junior nationals as well as numerous state fairs, regional and other national shows. They are both passionate about the future of Hereford youth and the Hereford breed.
